ManneFin Loan ("we", "our", or "the App") is dedicated to safeguarding your personal and financial information. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of data we collect, how it's used, stored, and shared in accordance with applicable Indian law, RBI directions for digital lending, and our partnership with INTLOW LEASING AND FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED, a registered NBFC ("Lender").

By accessing or using our application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Our Role in Handling Your Information

ManneFin Loan is a digital platform operated by Manne Fintech Private Limited. While all loans are sanctioned by the Lender, we facilitate the technology, user interface, and data processing mechanisms that support secure and compliant loan transactions.

Data collected via the app may be shared with:

  • INTLOW LEASING AND FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED, the regulated lender;
  • Authorized verification partners (e.g., credit bureaus, KYC processors);
  • Regulatory bodies, if required by law.

2. Loan Terms - What You Should Expect

  • Loan Amount: ₹2,000 - ₹80,000
  • Duration: 6 to 12 months
  • Interest Rate: 2.1% per month
  • Processing Fee: 3% (deducted from disbursed amount)
  • Maximum APR: 29%(includes interest and processing fee. Calculated based on ₹10,000 loan over 12 months with ₹300 fee and ₹12,520 total repayment)

Example Calculation:

  • Loan Amount: ₹10,000
  • Duration: 12 months
  • Interest Rate: 2.1% per month
  • Processing Fee: ₹300 (3% of ₹10,000)
  • Amount Disbursed: ₹9,700
  • Total Repayment: ₹12,520

3. Information We Collect From You

To process your loan application and provide regulated credit services, we collect the following types of user data:

Identity Information: PAN card, Aadhaar card, voter ID, name, date of birth, and gender.

Contact Information: Phone number, Aadhaar-linked mobile number, address (permanent and current).

Employment & Financial Information: Monthly income, occupation type, bank account number and IFSC, salary slip or bank statements.

Device Information: Device type, mobile network info, IP address, and device identifiers.

Usage & Behavioural Data: App activity logs, login patterns, and interaction timestamps.

Analytics & Attribution Data (via Adjust and Firebase SDKs): We use Adjust to understand how users discover and install our app (e.g., through ads or marketing campaigns). We use Firebase to monitor app stability, usage trends, and deliver important service-related notifications. These SDKs collect non-sensitive data such as device identifiers, install source, crash reports, and aggregated usage statistics.

This information is gathered solely for the purpose of ensuring accurate credit assessment, fraud prevention, compliance with Indian regulations, and improving user experience.

4. Why We Require Specific Permissions

To deliver our services securely and efficiently, ManneFin Loan seeks limited access to device features. These permissions are used strictly with your consent, and only for legitimate lending-related purposes:

Approximate Location Access
We use your approximate location to confirm your presence within India, prevent fraudulent applications, and comply with region-specific lending laws. We do not collect precise or real-time location data.

Camera Access
Used only during onboarding to capture your photograph or conduct facial verification. This step helps prevent identity theft and fraud.

SMS Access
With your explicit consent, we access only financial SMS sent by banks, NBFCs, or verified payment providers to analyze your income activity and creditworthiness as part of the loan assessment process.

We do not read OTPs, promotional messages, or personal SMS. All data is processed securely and used solely for loan processing purposes.

We do not collect your contacts, precise GPS location, or microphone/audio data, etc.

5. How Your Data is Processed and Stored

All information you provide is encrypted and securely stored on servers located within India. Key practices include:

  • Use of AES-256 encryption for data in transit and at rest.
  • Limited data access by authorized personnel only.
  • Regular audits and compliance checks aligned with RBI guidelines.
  • Secure retention of data for as long as needed for regulatory or operational purposes (typically up to 5 years post-loan closure).

Once your data is no longer required, it is either anonymized or securely deleted.

6. Sharing of Information

We may share your data under the following conditions:

  • With the Lender (INTLOW LEASING AND FINANCE PRIVATE LIMITED) for underwriting, KYC validation, and loan servicing;
  • With RBI-licensed Credit Information Companies (CICs) such as CIBIL for credit scoring;
  • With third-party verification agencies for address checks, income validation, etc.;
  • When legally required by Indian courts, law enforcement, or regulatory bodies.

We do not sell or trade your data to advertisers or marketing companies.

7. User Controls and Your Rights

You retain full control over your data and have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data;
  • Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Withdraw consent for data processing (subject to outstanding obligations);
  • Request deletion of your data, post loan closure and legal retention periods.

8. Data Retention Duration

We store your data only for as long as required to:

  • Fulfill your loan agreement;
  • Satisfy audit, tax, legal, or regulatory requirements.

Once the purpose is fulfilled, we securely delete or anonymize your data in line with industry standards.

9. Children's Data

ManneFin Loan does not knowingly collect or process data from individuals under the age of 18. If such data is inadvertently collected, it will be promptly deleted.

10. Updates to This Privacy Statement

We may periodically revise this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, or our practices. All updates will be posted within the app. Continued use of the app after any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
